Birthday burgers at Byron, intu Derby

I first visited Byron in intu Derby way back when it first opened a couple of years ago and I’ve never been back. Mostly because of the bad service I received while I was there but also because I thought the food was overpriced. So when intu Derby invited me along to celebrate Byron’s tenth birthday I wasn’t jumping for joy but I had an open mind. We arrived a little early but we were quickly shown to our table. We were seated with another blogger, Gemma from The Gem Agenda and her friend. I’ve only ever met Gemma once…

Monthly highlights: July 2017

July was a great month for me, although most months are these days! As always, it was a busy month but it was packed full of great times that have turned into wonderful memories. One Love Manchester benefit concert I’m sure almost everyone has seen at least some of the One Love Manchester benefit concert that took place early in June. I watched the whole thing from start to finish and it…

Exploring Paradise Island Adventure Golf at intu Derby

A few weeks ago I was kindly invited to explore the new Paradise Island Adventure Golf located within intu Derby’s new multi-million pound entertainment complex. The complex had been on my radar long before it was even being constructed! I read about it in a local newspaper and thought it was exactly what Derby was crying out for. So obviously when I received the invitation I jumped at the opportunity! I invited my brother along and we decided to visit on a Sunday afternoon. We thought this might be a good time because we never normally do much on a…
