I’ve seen a lot of bloggers announce that they’re going to take a break lately, whether it be from social media or blogging in general. Sometimes we need to take a break, too much of anything can be bad for us. There’s no shame in admitting that you need some time out. Other people have said it and I’m going to say it too; Twitter has been buzzing with hostility for weeks now, maybe even months. It feels like there isn’t a day that goes by without someone creating drama or jumping in on someone else’s. I don’t know about you, but…

Despite February being the shortest month, this one was a busy month! So it only makes sense that my February highlights post is bursting full. As always, there’s a real mix of highlights but each one is special to me. Valentine’s Day Some people love it, others hate it. Personally I love Valentine’s Day and this year was no exception. I went away to York for a couple of days in December and the city had been transformed into the most beautiful festive wonderland. I took tons of pictures so I thought I’d share them with you. Partially because I want to be able to have a place to look back at them,…

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a good old-fashioned monthly highlights post. Honestly, I’ve missed writing these. Sometimes it feels like the months fly by without me stopping for a moment to think about what I’ve done. So that’s what I’m gonna do now. Sit back and relax folks, it’s been a busy month! The new year 2016 definitely wasn’t the best year for me. I couldn’t wait to put it behind me to be honest. I see 2017 as a fresh start, a blank canvas. I’m not sure where I’ll be in six months and that’s kinda scary but it’s…
