Seven reasons why Spring isn’t that great

So today is the Spring Equinox and to be honest, I’ve been waiting for it ever since Winter began. I’ve been thinking though, and there’s plenty of reasons why Spring and Summer aren’t actually that great after all. I’m not so sure as the negatives outweigh the positives but there’s still a fair few negatives to complain about. Shaving Now I don’t know about you, but my shaving routine literally disappears during the Winter months. There’s better things to be doing like making hot chocolate and snuggling under a blanket. But in Spring and Summer it’s difficult to avoid. When the…

I FINALLY saw James Morrison live!

I have loved James Morrison for ages and I’ve dreamt of seeing him live hundreds of times so when I got the chance to see him at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham I just couldn’t miss the opportunity! I probably paid a little too much for the tickets but I don’t mind because he’s one of those artists I’d pay almost anything to see. Plus we managed to get decent seats! Make-up problems every girl can understand

When I was in secondary school there was only a handful of girls I knew who didn’t wear make-up. I experimented for a short while but my limit was mascara – I didn’t branch out any further than that and since then I’ve never worn any make-up. Valentine’s night at The Distillery

So for Valentine’s day me and Jordan decided to go out for a meal on Saturday night instead of actual Valentine’s night. No reason in particular, it’s just we thought Saturday would be a bit more lively and I prefer to chill at home on Sunday nights. I read a fantastic blog post by one of my favourite bloggers, Olivia, about The Distillery in Derby so we decided to go and try it ourselves. You can read Olivia’s post here. First impressions were good. We’d never noticed the place before as it’s set back from the road behind the church…

Unpopular opinion: Krispy Kreme

About a year ago I went to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet for the first time with my mum and my nana. They’ve got so many fantastic shops and restaurants and I spent so much money there but one thing I bought in particular was my first Krispy Kreme doughnut. They didn’t have a shop there, it was a Krispy Kreme van parked in the walkway so there wasn’t a lot of choice because it wasn’t very big. I had enormously high hopes because there’s obviously a lot of hype around Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but I was disappointed! I chose the…
