If you know me, even just a little bit, you will know I love a big heaping plate of Mexican food any day of the damn week. Burritos, tacos, nachos, fajitas, enchiladas. You name it, I love it. So that’s why, when I received a lovely invitation from Las Iguanas to check out their revamped Nottingham branch I was super excited but also baffled as to why I’d never been before. Bodega have been on my radar now for a while. I’d heard wonderful things about their restaurant in Leicester as a few of my friends had been and written about it. But the thing is, I don’t visit Leicester very often so I’ve always missed out. Until now! A few weeks ago (read: three months ago) I was very kindly invited to the exclusive VIP pre-opening of the new Rush hair salon in Nottingham city centre. Nottingham isn’t the nearest city to me, however it is my favourite city in my local area so I was super excited! I was overwhelmed to say the least when the lovely intu staff handed us our goody bags because we had not one, but two goody bags each! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and…

I’ve got to admit, I’d already had a sneak peek at what was to come! I’d seen some of the shows at the intu Victoria Centre in Nottingham the week before so I knew that they’d be fantastic. Rather than your typical catwalk which (let’s be honest) can be kinda boring, the models performed dance routines instead. The chorography was mostly the same but each performance had a theme which incorporated the music and the clothing. The models were showcasing clothing from stores in the centre…
