My #EastMidsMeetUp goody bag reveal!

If you’ve read my post about the #EastMidsMeetUp last weekend then you’ll be ahead of the game. We were lucky enough to get not just one, but two goody bags! One from Lush, and the other from Matalan. I briefly mentioned a couple of my favourite treats from the goody bags and linked to a couple of brands. However it was all too brief, so I thought why not write a whole post about them?! I went to the #EastMidsMeetUp!

So yesterday was the day that I have been waiting for for months – the #EastMidsMeetUp! I was super excited because it was my first proper blogger event. I attended the #DerbyBloggersBrunch in May, but that was more of a casual meet up than an event. The #EastMidsMeetUp was organised by Emmie from Carpe Diem Emmie, Kirsty from Kirsty Ralph, Kirstie from Behind the Scent and Lianne from The Brunette Says and took place at Manhattan 34 in Leicester. Around 40 bloggers attended and there were some awesome brands there such as Blogosphere Magazine, Angel Eyes and Danique Hairdressing. The wonderful Charlotte…

Maybe I was wrong about Krispy Kreme!

A few months ago I wrote about how I don’t like Krispy Kreme doughnuts. It’s been one of my most popular posts so far and I’ve received lots of lovely comments suggesting that I give Krispy Kreme another shot. #DerbyBloggersBrunch – my first ever blogger meet up!

So today I went to my first ever blogger meet up. It was the #DerbyBloggersBrunch organised by the lovely Monet from Munching With Monet. It took place at The Cosy Club in Derby, one of the latest exciting new restaurants to open up in the city centre. I’d never been before but I’d heard and read great things about it so I couldn’t wait to try it for myself, as well as meet a great bunch of local bloggers. I got to the meet a little early because I really didn’t want to be the last one there, I don’t know…

Coach holidays aren’t just for old people

If you follow me on Twitter you might already know this but I’ve been away on holiday this week with my boyfriend Jordan. We stayed in Harrogate for 4 nights, Monday to Friday and we went as part of a coach holiday. Yes that’s right, a coach holiday. The type of holiday my grandma and grandad always go on. I think everybody associates coach holidays with older people, I know I always have. It was convenient for us though because we don’t drive, the price was incredible because we booked at the last minute and we knew we’d enjoy the…
