One of my favourite bloggers, Olivia over at The Printed Parade, published an awesome post the other day where she listed a fact about herself for every letter of the alphabet. I loved it so much that I asked her if I could do my own version and she very kindly said yes, so here it is.
Book: I literally never read, this is a habit I’m trying to get out of, so I don’t really have a favourite book but there’s a couple of books I’m looking forward to reading. One is The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k by Sarah Knight and the other is Mindfulness for Worriers by Padraig O’Morain.
Countries I’ve travelled to: I’ve never travelled abroad before. I went to Wales once on holiday a few years ago but I don’t think that counts.
Dream destination: I’ve got quite a few dream destinations but some of my favourites are America, Australia and Gibraltar. I watched a TV programme about Gibraltar once ages ago and ever since I’ve really wanted to go.
Eye colour: I have hazel eyes which are kind of a mix of everything. Same goes for my hair. It’s not blonde but it’s not brown and it’s not ginger, it’s a mix of all three.
Film: I don’t watch a lot of films so I don’t really have a favourite but one I watched most recently and really enjoyed was Zootropolis. I didn’t have high expectations but in the end it was a really good film.
Goals: I don’t have any specific goals but in terms of blogging I’d love to improve my photography skills and find the time to take part in more blogger chats on Twitter. As for life goals I really hope I can pass my level 3 apprenticeship and move onto level 4 afterwards.
Height: I’ve actually shrunk throughout my teens. I was measured when I was maybe 12 or 13 and I was 5 ft 4 but when I was measured again in college when I was 17 I’d shrunk to 5 ft 3.
Ice cream flavour: Nothing can beat Ben & Jerry’s chocolate fudge brownie ice cream.
Job: I’m an apprentice marketing assistant but in the past I’ve worked for Ernest Jones and Phase Eight.
Karaoke classic: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is a proper karaoke classic, isn’t it?
Lucky number: I don’t have a lucky number, or if I do I don’t know what it is.
Make up: I don’t wear make up but I watch tons of make up videos and the brand I always think looks the nicest is Tarte, but of course I have no idea how good it is.
Nickname: My boyfriend’s little sister couldn’t say my name properly when she was really tiny so she called me Feets instead. She still calls me Feets sometimes even though she’s older now.
Outdoor place: I like the countryside because it’s open and pretty but I also like the atmosphere of a hectic city centre.
Phobias: I went on holiday with my boyfriend and his family a few years ago to Newquay. Our bedroom window was stuck open so we had to leave it open overnight and when I woke up in the night there were bats flying around the room! Ever since then I’ve been petrified of bats, they’ve scarred me for life!
Qualification I’m most proud of: I took part in NCS when I left school and I’ve got to say it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I always mention it at job interviews and it’s on my CV because it taught me so many invaluable skills such as team work, communications skills and organisation skills.
Restaurant: I love TGI Fridays and Barburrito but it depends on the occasion. Me and Jordan always go to Barburrito for lunch when we’re in Nottingham – if you’ve never heard of it before you can read about it here.
Song: My all-time favourite has to be Harder to Breathe by Maroon 5 but I also love Slave to the Music by James Morrison.
TV series: My Friday nights for the last few weeks have been spent watching Boomers on BBC 1. It’s a hilarious comedy about a group of retired friends. It’s definitely worth catching up with on the iPlayer if you’ve got a spare half hour.
University: I don’t go to university but I always said that if I ever did I would go to York St John University because I would absolutely love to live in York.
Vehicle: I can’t drive yet so I don’t have a car but I’ve always dreamt of owning a retro campervan.
X-ray: I have never had an x-ray. I’ve never been active enough to hurt myself and require an x-ray.
Year of birth: I was born in 1996.
Zodiac sign: I’m a Sagittarius which apparently means I’m curious, optimistic and generous.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to Olivia for writing the original post and very kindly letting me do my own version. It was a great idea and I really enjoyed having a go myself. Don’t forget to check out Olivia’s blog and follow her on Twitter and let me know in the comments what you think of this post.
