A couple of weeks ago I wrote about intu Derby’s autumn/winter fashion event and now I’m gonna tell you lovely lot all about the incredible goody bags we received. I’m not gonna lie, I love goody bags. Once I spent £10 in Tiger on stuff that I didn’t need just so I could get a goody bag at the till.
Anyway, let’s move on.
I was overwhelmed to say the least when the lovely intu staff handed us our goody bags because we had not one, but two goody bags each! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again. I honestly do not feel worthy of receiving these incredible products free of charge but I am unbelievably grateful!
I’m going to split this post in half and talk about one goody bag at a time.
The Tiger goody bag
Tiger is one of my favourite shops. I always wander in to have a look and I’m constantly in awe of their creative and fun products.
- Teeth cup
- Giant playing cards
- Multi-coloured fairy lights
Believe it or not, but literally a week before the event I nearly bought the exact same fairy lights from their Nottingham store. True story. So when I saw these in the bottom of my goody bag I was ridiculously happy! I think they might be my favourite gift from the Tiger goody bag but I also love my teeth cup. I know they do all sorts of other kitchenware to match so I might pick up some more teeth things.
The everywhere else goody bag
I’ve decided to name this goody bag “the everywhere else goody bag” because that’s exactly what it is. It’s full of goodies from everywhere else!
- L’Oréal Volume Million Lashes Black Couture mascara
- L’Oréal Color Riche nail polish, 408 Exquisite Scarlet
- L’Oréal Color Riche eyeliner, Snow White
- L’Oréal Color Riche lipstick, 461 Scarlette Crème
This was one of the first things I pulled out of the bag and I was honestly in total shock because these are all full-sized products! I love the mascara and the nail polish. The eyeliner and the lipstick aren’t for me, but they’d make great gifts for someone else. I wouldn’t want to keep them for myself because I know they’d never get used and I wouldn’t want them to go to waste!
- Clarins Cleansing Milk with Alpine herbs
- Clarins Toning Lotion with camomile
- Clarins Super Restorative Day illuminating lifting replenishing cream
I’m not crazy about skincare but even I know that Clarins is a high-end skincare brand. I’m going to be honest, I’m not sure what these products are for so I’m hoping there will be some information on their website. I’d like to try them but I want to make sure I’m using them properly!
- No7 Beautiful Skin Dry Skin Rescue
- No7 Strength and Growth Treatment
- No7 Lovely Lashes
- No7 Stay Perfect Eye Shadow, middle shade from Good Earth trio
Out of all of the beauty goodies I received I think these are the ones that I will get the most use out of. I will definitely use the Beautiful Skin balm because sometimes, especially in the colder months, my face can get very dry. I’m blessed with long and strong natural nails however both my mum and my nana aren’t. So I’m sure they’ll get good use out of the No7 Strength and Growth treatment.
- The Body Shop Drops of Youth Youth Cream
- The Body Shop Drops of Youth Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
- The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser
- The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Protect Emulsion
- The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil
Like I said earlier, I’m not crazy about skincare. However I think The Body Shop is good at simplifying skincare and making it accessible for everyone. I wouldn’t go out and spend a lot of money on skincare products such as facials or moisturisers but I will definitely give these samples a try. You never know, I might find that one or two of them work really well for my skin!
- £5 intu gift card
- Free parking
My intu gift card was one of the last things I pulled out of the goody bag but it’s definitely one of my favourites. intu Derby has an incredible range of shops so I’m sure I won’t have any trouble spending it. Plus with Christmas coming up it’ll come in handy. Unfortunately I couldn’t use the free parking ticket they kindly gave to us because I’m still learning to drive but I appreciate it nonetheless.
- Diorshow Maximizer 3D base mascara lash primer
- Jean Paul Gaultier “Classique”
- Bumble and Bumble Straight Blow Dry styling balm
These are all high-end brands so I decided to group them together as they didn’t really fit with any of the other goodies. I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never heard of Bumble and Bumble. However, despite it’s length, my hair is very curly so I might give it a try. Plus I’m on the hunt for a posh perfume. I’m going to keep using my Jean Paul Gaultier sample and decide whether or not I’d like the full-sized product. I could even put it on my birthday or Christmas wish list!
- Patisserie Valerie mini macaroons
- Paperchase 2017 diary
I didn’t get a picture of my mini macaroons because (no surprise here!) I ate them. However I did get a picture of my cute new diary. I actually spotted this diary in Paperchase a couple of weeks before the event so I was really surprised when I saw it in my goody bag! It’s a great size and there’s plenty of space to write underneath each day.
I want to say a huge thank you to all of the brands who kindly gifted their products for the goody bags. I’m so overwhelmed by their generosity and I want them to know how much I appreciate it. I also want to say a huge thank you to intu Derby for inviting me to their autumn/winter fashion event and for treating us all so well.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my goody bags. Do you have a favourite out of all of the products I received? I think there’s too many for me to pick just one!
Everything I received in the goody bags was gifted however there was no obligation for me to publish a post about the products.
