Lunch at Barburrito

This weekend me and Jordan went to Barburrito in Nottingham, like we do almost every weekend. We love it there! It’s burrito paradise. So I thought to myself, why have I never told you about it? Well to be honest I don’t know and this post is long overdue, believe me. Barburrito have restaurants in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Gateshead, Leeds, Liverpool and Nottingham and the menu includes classic Mexican goodies like burritos (obviously!), nachos and churros. It’s kinda like the Subway of Mexican food. You choose your rice, beans, salsa and filling and anything else you’d like so it’s completely customisable…

The rise of the revenge body

Celebrity culture has fuelled the rise of social trends such as selfies, squads and friendship goals but it’s now fuelling a rise in so-called revenge bodies. If you haven’t heard of revenge bodies before then I’ll explain. Seven reasons why Spring isn’t that great

So today is the Spring Equinox and to be honest, I’ve been waiting for it ever since Winter began. I’ve been thinking though, and there’s plenty of reasons why Spring and Summer aren’t actually that great after all. I’m not so sure as the negatives outweigh the positives but there’s still a fair few negatives to complain about. Shaving Now I don’t know about you, but my shaving routine literally disappears during the Winter months. There’s better things to be doing like making hot chocolate and snuggling under a blanket. But in Spring and Summer it’s difficult to avoid. When the…

Why I don’t have a blogging schedule and probably never will

When I started my blog I wanted it to be light-hearted and fun, for me and for you guys too! I just wanted a small space to write about things I care about and have the odd rant every now and again so I never even considered following a schedule. Some might say I’m disorganised but I don’t plan posts and I don’t have set days of the week when I schedule posts. It’s just not my thing. I’m not going to go months on end without posting but I don’t want to be tied down to a strict schedule…

I FINALLY saw James Morrison live!

I have loved James Morrison for ages and I’ve dreamt of seeing him live hundreds of times so when I got the chance to see him at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham I just couldn’t miss the opportunity! I probably paid a little too much for the tickets but I don’t mind because he’s one of those artists I’d pay almost anything to see. Plus we managed to get decent seats! When we got to the concert hall I headed over to the merch table straight away. I was sucked in by the “personally signed” programmes. My mum burst my bubble after that by telling me…
