5 struggles I have when it comes to creating kick-ass fashion content

Fashion content is some of my favourite content to create. However I very rarely publish fashion-related posts and that’s because I find fashion content so hard to create. It’s not for lack of inspiration, I am bursting with inspiration! Seeing my fave blogging gals push out killer posts day-in day-out pushes me to do the same. But there’s a few obstacles in my way, and I’m hoping I’m not alone. I often dress with convenience in mind rather than fashion If I’m going to share an outfit then it needs to be an outfit I adore, that I feel fabulous…

The sassiest pink biker jacket you will ever see

A couple of weeks ago someone shared a link on Twitter to the dreamiest lilac biker jacket I’ve ever seen. In fact it was probably one of the only lilac biker jackets I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been brave enough to jump on the bold biker jacket bandwagon so I wasn’t serious about buying it. That was until I fell head-over-heels in love with the raspberry pink one. It looked gorgeous online but it’s one of those colours where you can’t be 100% sure what it’s like unless you see it in person. So when I went into Nottingham on…

intu Derby’s autumn/winter fashion event

A few weeks ago I received an invitation to the intu Derby autumn/winter fashion event. I’ve got to admit, I’d already had a sneak peek at what was to come! I’d seen some of the shows at the intu Victoria Centre in Nottingham the week before so I knew that they’d be fantastic. My first charity shop shopping spree at LOROS

I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never really been into charity shop shopping. I used to pop into one or two every now and then but I could never find anything decent. I couldn’t be bothered to trawl through the rubbish to find the hidden gems that I’d heard so much about. My friend Charlotte (from Discovering Charlotte and Shoestring Chic) absolutely loves charity shops. So a couple of weeks ago she introduced me and Kirstie (from Behind the Scent) to the world of charity shop shopping. LOROS have 28 shops across Leicestershire and Rutland but Charlotte showed us round the store on…

OOTD: Festival vibes in my Primark maxi dress

It finally felt like summer had begun on Sunday! The sun was shining and the skies were blue. So me and Jordan decided to make the most of it and head down to our home town’s music festival. We brought a picnic blanket and some snacks and made ourselves comfortable in the shade. We had a good view of the stage but we were far enough back to be out of the crowds. I’ve been waiting for summer to begin ever since I bought a beautiful maxi dress from Primark a few weeks ago. Nothing makes me feel more summery than…
